Left, 2011, porcelain and monofiliment, installation dimensions variable

Left is an installation consisting of hundreds of individually formed porcelain "leaves" that each have the imprint of a right hand. The leaves hang in a bell-curve, upward rising shape and are illuminated from behind so that they are translucent and look like skin. The piece is about the unseen hand of the maker behind mass produced objects.
